Hi, I'm Elizabeth Mercer, and I go by Betsy. I'm the photographer, caregiver and heart behind Three Pet Paws, LLC in Parker, Colorado.

I know what it feels like for a pet to become part of your family. The routines, the expressions, the way they make an ordinary day better. Those are the things I want to celebrate in my photographs and honor in the way I care for your dog.

Three Pets Who Changed My Life

Three Pet Paws began after an 18-month stretch when I lost three beloved companions. Each had a personality all their own, and each left a lasting place in my heart.

I opened Three Pet Paws in spring 2024 to honor them. Photographing pets is one way I help families hold onto the moments that mean so much. Caring for dogs is another way to give that love somewhere to go.

My Photography Celebrates The Pet You Know

I love the expressions that happen when a dog is being themselves: the concentration before a leap, the joy of running and the look they save for their favorite person.

Action photography is my specialty, and I'm an athlete who can keep up with active dogs. I also make room for portraits and quieter moments, because a pet doesn't need to be moving at full speed to have a story worth capturing.

My pet photography sessions are planned around personality, energy and comfort. We choose the location together and talk about the images you'd love to bring home.

Personal Dog Care Means Paying Attention

When a dog stays with me, I want to understand their day. What helps them settle? What kind of outing do they enjoy? Where do they like to rest?

I offer dog boarding in my Parker home, with a fenced backyard, comfortable places to lounge and regular updates for pet parents. My experience with senior dogs also shapes the gentle care and quiet spaces I can offer.

I photograph pets across the Denver metro area and am happy to discuss farther locations. Recurring walks, runs, adventures and drop-in care serve Parker and northern Douglas County.
